SAFE LEARNING SYSTEM
Safeguarding and safety guide
The course builds competence while keeping responsibility proportionate to the learner’s age and training.
Core rules
- Real danger overrides the course.
- Move to safety and involve a trusted adult.
- Follow official and professional instructions.
- Do not improvise weapons, hazardous electrical devices, medicines or unsafe fire sources.
- Do not taste unknown plants, fungi or demonstration water.
- Do not use privacy learning to evade lawful authorities or conceal harm.
Content notes
Potentially distressing missions should be introduced calmly, with opt-outs and alternative activities. The course must not place responsibility for family safety on a child.
AURA safeguarding
AURA must use age modes, curriculum grounding, input limits, output filtering, rate limiting, minimal logging and a static fallback. Browser code must never contain an API key.
Reporting
Before public launch, assign a monitored safeguarding contact route and documented response procedure.
